Patricia Rodrigues da Costa

Patricia has a degree in political science (VUB) and public relations. She works as a Public Affairs advisor at Infrabel and is also vice-president of Visit Brussels. In 2012, she started as a municipal councillor and CPAS member in Jette. Today, she has been re-elected as a CPAS member. A Vooruit militant (formerly sp.a) since 2002, she began her career in the party's communication department and was press officer of the first female president of the Senate. Patricia is committed to supporting single parents, improving access to housing, mobility and tackling menstrual poverty. As a mother of two teenagers, she attaches great importance to sports and culture for all. With her roots in a large family and her pride in her Congolese and Portuguese origins, Patricia embodies Brussels' cosmopolitan identity. She is a passionate Socialist who loves jogging, reading and R&B.
