La Ville de Bruxelles rendra ainsi hommage \u00e0 la r\u00e9alisatrice belge, connue notamment pour \u201c Jeanne Dielman, 23 quai du Commerce, 1080 Bruxelles \u201d. Ce film a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9sign\u00e9 meilleur film de tous les temps en 2022. Cette initiative s'inscrit dans le cadre du plan de la Ville de Bruxelles visant \u00e0 inclure davantage de noms de femmes marquantes et de personnes LGBTQIA+(*) dans l\u2019espace public.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Ana\u00efs Maes, (one.brussels-Vooruit), \u00e9chevine charg\u00e9e de l&#x27;urbanisme et de l&#x27;espace public : Contrairement \u00e0 ce que laisse entendre le titre du c\u00e9l\u00e8bre film, le Handelskaai se trouve sur le territoire de la Ville de Bruxelles. L&#x27;occasion \u00e9tait trop belle pour ne pas saisir cette r\u00e9f\u00e9rence et donner un nouveau nom \u00e0 cette avenue. Nous rendons ainsi hommage \u00e0 l&#x27;un des cin\u00e9astes les plus talentueux de tous les temps. N\u2019oubliez pas que parmi les rues nomm\u00e9es d\u2019apr\u00e8s des personnalit\u00e9s, seules 15% sont d\u00e9di\u00e9es \u00e0 des femmes, contre 85% \u00e0 des hommes. Un fait triste, mais pas insurmontable. L\u2019espace public doit refl\u00e9ter l\u2019histoire que nous partageons tous, et les femmes sont trop souvent oubli\u00e9es. En donnant \u00e0 de nouvelles rues le nom de femmes, nous voulons rendre l\u2019histoire aussi inclusive que possible.<br \/>\nLa d\u00e9cision de renommer l'all\u00e9e a \u00e9t\u00e9 prise en concertation avec la s\u0153ur de Chantal Akerman et la Chantal Akerman Foundation.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>L'inauguration de la \u201c Chantal Akermandreef \u201d aura lieu le 29 septembre \u00e0 12h30, accompagn\u00e9e de la d\u00e9couverte d'une fresque murale r\u00e9alis\u00e9e en l'honneur de Chantal Akerman en collaboration avec l'\u00c9chevin de la Culture de Bruxelles. Une invitation \u00e0 la presse suivra prochainement.<\/p>\n<p>(*) Chantal Akerman sera le 11\u00e8me nom \u00e0 \u00eatre ajout\u00e9 durant cette l\u00e9gislature.
