What’s in a name?
From now on, we will go through life as Vooruit.brussels. That name says it all. We, Dutch-speaking socialists, are pushing Brussels forward. Brussels has changed thanks to us. We dare and we do. We have already achieved a lot. But the work is not yet done.
To continue that work, we need to get our hands dirty. So, win elections.
In 2019, we opted to go to the electorate with a broad urban movement. one.brussels embodied that open movement. Meanwhile, the circumstances have changed.
There is a very different dynamic at the national level. Conner Rousseau has transformed sp.a into the socialist movement Vooruit. Vooruit is a movement that is open to input from people from outside. Exactly as we have always done with the city movement one.brussels.
The new name and logo for Vooruit.brussels align with the national Vooruit logo, but add the .brussels extension and their own unique look and feel. This emphasises the specific metropolitan character that the Dutch-speaking socialists in Brussels to envisage.
